Jazz music and the end of (official, anyway) racial segregation in America. New York City rock and roll and the velvet revolution in Czechoslovakia. Heavy metal and glasnost, back in the USSR.

Music has the power to open us to positive change like nothing else. The time is now for us to choose to make a dramatic leap in the quality of our lives on earth. We just imagine it together, choose it, and it is.

The world needs what we're doing here. I believe this, and it's one reason I am traveling and playing on a donation basis. While the love and encouragement of those whose hearts are touched by my mission give me spiritual food, we have other needs to be met. If you want to get involved, please consider:

• hosting a house concert
• providing a clean quiet place to stay
• promoting the mission and the CD in your area
• pitching in with money and other material needs

ways to get involved
Current priority material needs include a laptop with word processing and email capabilities (immediate), and a car for the summer West Coast tour. While we're on the road, healthy good-energy foods are a premium. And, of course, we can always put money to good use (see below).

If you'd like to have your name on the tour display as a supporter, we're asking for a $50 minimum donation for each tour. Here's how that whole thing works:

A sign with the names of the tour supporters is featured on the tour display board. I hand-letter the names of the supporters on this sign. When you make your gift, you associate an intent.** This could be for abundance or change to come into your life, to drop a bad habit, for the fulfillment of a desire, for peace in our time, etc.

• Over the course of the tour, this sign will be on display when I play. The names on the list will be acknowledged and those whose lives are touched and enriched by the experience will honor those who made the tour possible.
• The vibration of the performances and the energy of the audiences will flow to you through your name on the sign, and this metaphysical process will add to the power of your intent to manifest.
• I will also be taking the list to natural power spots along my route, where I will chant mantras for the fulfillment of the intent associated with the names on the list.
